I have always been fascinated by Internet History and widely amazing [[ Internet Culture ]] it has. Today I learned about a word that greatly describes the sweet era of internet timeline after it started becoming a thing beyond niche academic circles and before the corporations took over resulting in bloated mess that we are in.
Handmade Web
It is called so because it was well actually handmade. People crafted their own sites and it was their “Home Page on the Internet”.
